Jydge firemodes4/2/2023 ![]() Needing to continuously upgrade your suit and weapons to keep up with the difficulty is very rewarding, but requires a lot of money. I found this took what were fun missions and beat them into the ground by forcing me to replay them countless times. Since hardcore dishes up some extremely challenging tasks, you’ll easily find yourself playing levels over and over in order to earn enough medals. This wouldn’t be a problem if the medal requirements weren’t so vigorous, for example, to unlock the first mission in Act III you need 55 of the possible 60 medals. In order to unlock new missions you must collect enough medals, which are rewarded after finishing missions and for each subgoal you achieve. While I appreciate when given the option for a more difficult setting, I despise being forced to complete it to continue progressing, and sadly that’s exactly what Jydge does. After completing each stage you’ll unlock a hardcore version of the mission with increased difficulty and two new subgoals to tackle. Not only is there the main objective, but also two subgoals that force you to approach the level differently such as not taking any damage, completing the stage in a set period of time, or avoid being spotted by enemies. Each mission has a main objective that ranges from eliminating certain targets, rescuing civilians, collecting evidence, or surviving an onslaught of enemies for a period of time. However unlike its predecessor, progression is done by completing bite sized missions that generally last just a few minutes. Using a top down perspective you’ll navigate through city streets and buildings taking out criminals. 2 were modded with special effects for the Double Whammy which had a barrel radio controlled by off scene technicians.Jydge is a pretty straight forward twin stick shooter, the left analog stick controls your movement and the right analog stick aims your weapons. There were a maximum of 6 used during the film's production, all of which were capable of firing but had different functions. In reality, the Lawgiver used in the film was based from the Beretta 92FS handgun. DNA Coding is usually upgraded everytime the weapon is reloaded. ![]() ![]() This makes it easier for the judges to apprehend the shooter. Unlike it's present day counterpart, this Lawgiver is outfitted with a DNA Encoding of the judge firing the weapon, which is encoded on each round chambered before firing. It also features a fingerprint ID scanner that is programmed only to recognizes the hand of a judge, others who take it up are the subject of a high electrical shock which is emitted from the weapon. Ammunitions include grenade, signal flares, armor piercing and my personal favorite, the double-whammy which shoots two bolts of energy at people side by side. It features a variety of different voice command select fire modes and ammunitions including semi-auto, full automatic and even rapid fire. Now the Lawgiver is basically a select-fire handgun jacked up on more steroids than Vera De Milo. Alright now here's a piece of technology probably everybody wants, this is the Lawgiver 2 from the comedically cliched and over the top 1995 film Judge Dredd.
